An additional 21 alternate color avatars have been added to the Shop. They are level dependent, the first one is revealed at level 10, and then another ever 2 levels after until 50. For now that's all you need, but next monday I'll institute a level cap, so that the avatars are only available for 6 levels. |

Starting Monday, September 21st, there will be Level Up Avatars appearing in the shop. These Avatars are alternate colored versions of existing Avatars, for Iczers who are serious about having a unique look. The first one will appear at level 10, and then another will appear every two levels after that. The Avatars will cost the same as the normal ones (FM Included), and will be available for 6 levels each. This means at any one time you'll have access to 3 Level Up Avatars. Of course, if you're already level 40 or so, you don't want to miss out on all those Avatars you would have gotten a shot at when you were levels 10-39, so for the first week there will be no expiration condition, and all the Avatars you're high enough to have will appear. After the first week, all but the most recent three will vanish.

Our next Community Tournament is on the horizon! It will be held on Tuesday Sept 29, 2:30 EST 8 hours after maintenance, and managed by harvest4god. This is a ONE * (RARITY) THEME TOURNAMENT Here's what harvest4god has to say about it: I will not accept entries, until the day of the tourney starting about
an hour before. I will create the bracket on site before the tourney from anyone who
shows up. this should prevent a bunch of delays. I will be making it
double elim. So if a person never loses and makes it to the final. they
have to be beat twice to be knocked out. Condition of tourney: you can
only use 1* rarity cards. If you are found using anything higher than
that, its instant DQ. I will just view random matches to verify. I will
need some volunteers to record the final matches. So everyone
get cracking on their deck ideas. and get ready for some fun. And here's what I have to say about it: In an effort to increase the amount of Point Cards out there, Point Card prizes have doubled from previous community tournaments. Also, there are now PARTICIPATION prizes. First prize is 50 Gran and 10 Point Cards Second prize is 10 Point Cards Runners Up get 2 Point Cards
All participants (even if you lose every match) get 2 more Point Cards! This Tournament is linked to Arakis' Quest, so if you play your cards right you can land an additional 20 point cards for your effort!
The forum post for this tournament is here, and you can send any questions to

If any of you Iczers populate other forums beside Alteil's, we have a special signature to help promote your favorite addiction, errr... game. Hit the link to the web banner page and copy the code into your signature. A couple different varieties may pop up in the near future so check back in a bit. |

Well not RIGHT here but at the bottom of the news posts on the right hand side. Now you can view all the great Alteil news in your favorite reader. Except for Chrome, because it has no reader support yet. A suitable workaround should be forthcoming. Enjoy.

We had a large crop of submissions for our Card Flip contest and well it was tough narrowing down the winner. Lots of fairy tale jokes, princes and spells, transformation recipes, etc. Not alot of Indiana Jones references sadly though, I guess the fedora wearing adventurer just couldn't be used as a successful punchline. Anyways without further ado, your winner and his submission: ajkeil. Four point cards to you good sir. Congrats and well done. Congrats to all the participants. The Card Flip contest is always open and anyone who wants to submit their own work without the limitations of the Caption Contest are welcome to do so. Four point cards will still be awarded within a two week period if we get enough submissions. Peep the in-depth rules for that at this link here. You can see all the past Card Flips by clicking on that blue link in the middle of this sentence. |
