You need 4 SP and 4 Spheres. All it does is let you skip a set phase with the tradeoff that it's a random unit and random space.

Hmm I like how the lvl 1 summoners were handled. Yes it can be disrupted, but a good player should know that you don't HAVE to play the lvl 1 summoner; if having the open sp is a liability you can simply play the lvl 4 instead (although whether or not it's a liability will largely depend on the summoning units agi as well).

But yea how useful these are will largely depend on the sphere they represent and the individual unit's abilities.

all i can about special summoning in usa will be dumb, least jp was kind enough to not only have openskill negates, but have several special summon killers, WHICH WE WONT GET FOR YEARS
