how to invite guild members ?

I have been looking around to find the answer but found nothing. I met a guy and he wanted to join mah guild, i rushed out and searched for the guild fuctions but there is nothing that let me invite a member in the guild tab. I tried to send mail to him but it turned out I must have his name in the friend list to do so.

This is furious that I would never be able to see him again.

You can't invite. You give him the password and he goes into the guild tab and joins himself.
